| 115315 | 2003-01-19 10:26:00 | Sidewinder Precision 2 joystick stops getting detected on a system running XP. Worked fine on the old ME computer. It installs fine, and works fine but then after ??? happens it does no longer get detected. It's USB. Restoring the computer to a previous time when the joystick did work does not help. The only thing that works is a reinstal of XP and then it goes again. Only to stop working (being detected) a short time later. Any help is much appreciated. |

Then, is the device status listed as Working under Gaming Options in the Control Panel (it might be different for you as this is coming from WinME) Failing that you could always try Microsoft Support (www.microsoft.com) which has useful bits of information to get your Josystick working ok CyberChuck |
