115547 2003-01-20 19:52:00 Vanessa is sulking... big time.

I tend to turn the screen off and leave the computer running. In the morning i often find a frozen screen, or a BSOD. The last BSOD was telling me that there were insufficiant resourses to allow NAV to run properly. Other BSOD have been the usual carry on that BSOD go on about, and i have not taken note.

About all that Vanessa has actively running these days is kazaa, NAV, ZA.

?:| Could it be that the machine is sulking as i now use my other computer 80% of the time?

115548 2003-01-20 20:03:00 Sounds like some task too big for it to handle popped up in the night. Could NAV have attempted running a virus scan? agent (30)
115549 2003-01-20 20:03:00 Yes - Its Microsofts Auto-Update... All 98 Machines now throw a tantrum when their owner begins using Linux! ;) :p Chilling_Silence (9)
115550 2003-01-20 20:03:00 Have you tried running scandisk and defrag recently? cyberchuck (173)

Yeah . . That's what they WANT you to think . . . .

I would agree that a Defrag and ScanDisk would be good, also run msconfig and make sure there's no rouge little things loading up, and also Ad-Aware, run that!

Cheers

Yeah - it's true - really it's a big US Coverup where you use your computer for the NSA to search for words like Bomb, America, WhiteHouse, World, Domination, Kill, etc (read Taxpayer Funded Snooping (www.pcworld.co.nz) - another excellent article by Geoff Plamer)

I :x this World!

115556 2003-01-20 21:11:00 OK... the Search for Extra Terrestial Intellegence (or subversive material) is now over...

Lets see what that does for stability
