| 115430 | 2003-01-20 08:36:00 | Tried to open a file attachment sent by e-mail but got the message " this is too large for notepad do you want to use wordpad?" Clicked on yes but then got told it couldn't find wordpad. Where do I find it and how do I instal it?? | Peter M (852) | ||

Find it under the accessories sub-menu and put a tick next to it, You'll need your install CD! Its like a slightly more advanced Notepad, with RTF capabilities! Cheers Chilling_Silence |

It's free, and I wouldn't be without it, even though I own MSWord97 and MSWord2000 I also have installed EditPad, NoteTab and Programmers' File editor. I use each on occasion, but MetaPad is my workhorse. Cheers, Alan Carpenter |
