| 116035 | 2003-01-22 18:52:00 | I have just recently bought a new (relatively cheap) network card, plugged it in expected it to install (in exactly the same way it did on my second computer without a hitch) . However it didn't . It came up with a message saying "Invalid Data" . This also happened to me when I tried to install a PCI ADSL modem . At the time I thought it was a problem with the modem . But I think there might be something more sinister going on . I noticed in the Device manager that the "PCI Controller" had a problem . Is this all related? If so, how can I fix it? Oh, so you know, OS=XP and I downloaded the latest drivers for the Network Card . |
