| 115964 | 2003-01-22 06:03:00 | I have a cannon BJC256-sp printer and i am running it on winXP . due to loss of the CD i am using the windows driversw NOT the cannon ones . I am haveing problems printing from dos apps (dont ask) the page should be a full page of text . all i get is a page with 01010 d any thoughts? |

| 115965 | 2003-01-22 06:19:00 | I'm guessing you are running from a Dos window (not DOS itself) since you have XP. YOu need to get the correct drivers from www.cannon.com install the printer, then click on the properties in the port settings there is a ms-dos compatability thing. try that, |

| 115966 | 2003-01-22 07:06:00 | fixed it! bi-directonal priter with old crap cable :-) turned off bi-directonal prinrt support and it works good. tomorrow i will get a new cable. |
