I set the time for my computer to check for Microsoft Updates at a time when the computer is likely to be switched on. That works but after a while I discover that the time setting is 3:00 am - not a time when my computer is on. What do I need to fix, change, update, to make it stay on the time that I set? |

Is that the time to check, or the time to install? |

Thanks, Bogan. There is only one time setting. Go to Control Panel/Automatic Updates and enter the day and time to "Automatically download and install". I set this time to suit when my computer is switched on. Later I find that it has changed to 3:00am when my computer is not on. Why is this happening and what can I do about it? |
