1301530 2012-09-18 22:28:00 Just because there are 10,000 jobs available this week and 10,000 next, does it necessarily follow that makes 20,000 jobs?
Or are some carried over, because to my mind, if the NZ economy was creating 10,000 jobs a week it should also be capable of
paying higher interest on my investments, as it would be a booming economy, (which it clearly is not) something smells in that
10,000 jobs per week figure Chills, are you certain of this figure, 10,000 new jobs every week?
Taking a guess, Chill meant 10,000 jobs that week, most of which would carry over. Still 10,000 people who could be employed who aren't.

It's been a while (A couple of years as mentioned, but that was right in the middle of the recession), but if I recall it was around 2,000 per-week turnover? I could be wrong, I'll try find some stats after work :)

1301536 2012-09-19 05:39:00 PC and co will not like that thinking.

Is that right. because I don't think all people on benefits are lifestyle bludgers?

I bloody moved back up to get work, it's a lot easier to find work here, currently I am applying for all sorts of stuff, not just IT. Including crap pay stuff.

But you have your own opinions of course.
