2013-02-10 03:52:00 | I'd just spend $60 on the playtech one and up the gpu to the 7770 if you dont want to build yourself. | icow (15313) | |
2013-02-10 04:03:00 | just sent him a text telling him I'll need around $1500.I don't think $1000 gonna cut it. You can get the playtech system with windows a screen and a 7770 instead of a 640 for $1250... (nz.pcpartpicker.com)

2013-02-11 03:18:00 | AMD's APU is not going to drive many games at 1080 if any.......As single thread speed is still king with games, you are better off with an i3, or an i5 non-k if you can afford it.paired with ASRock you get 4ghz 4 cores out of the box....but you arent going to get much for 1k if you need o/s and LCD as well! | SolMiester (139) | |

2013-02-11 04:31:00 | Is that a stock CL pc or custom built? If you just gave them a budget and asked them to pick parts I would personally knock $50 off the case and put it into the gpu (650 is basically a 550ti). Choice of ram is questionable imo you could probably find similar stuff cheaper elsewhere. Decent for something that someone else is building for you though. | icow (15313) | |
2013-02-11 05:30:00 | It's a custom build. They don't have 500GB Hard Drives either, and I could get some parts elsewhere but Can I be bothered. I'd be happy with that for my first desktop.

2013-02-11 09:10:00 | I like computerland and use them a lot, on a tight budget though I tend to use www.pp.co.nz who also have great service and a much bigger range of parts at the budget end of the scale. For example a combo deal like www.pp.co.nz is a good start for a budget machine.
