I originally had what I believe was the original Toshiba Satellite from the mid 90's, a little grey thing with a floppy drive that ran windows 95, it had an erasor head and it was really good. The boot procedure is just a bit different to most other brands, it involves standing on a high area facing the steepest decline (preferably downwind) and using the heaviest hobnail boot you can find.
