I have (3 x 2GB) 6GB of DDR3 RAM installed, can I just add another (1 x 2GB or 2 x 2GB) since triple channel memory sticks are not easily available now?

1327897 2013-02-13 19:44:00 Another 1x2GB should work as long as the memory sticks are all the same make, model etc and they support triple channel.

I just put a 4x4GB kit in the same mobo at home and it works fine :)

Not that hard to find triple channel kits.

Or you could buy a quad channel kit and only use 3 of them in a pinch.
