1302303 2012-09-20 01:46:00 LOL - wot a load of rubbish! Need to employ shorter posties :-) ManUFan (7602)
1302304 2012-09-20 02:19:00 I think that NZ Post are going through a difficult time at the moment. Fewer people are using snail mail nowadays and revenue is dropping. They are, I believe considering cutting back on the number of days that they deliver so that they can save money.

Our posties mostly use push bikes to deliver mail and low letter boxes cause them to have to bend lower from their push bikes. Accidents can be caused while doing this which means that your postie will have to spend time on sick leave as a result. A replacement postie is required resulting in extra expense to NZ Post.

While we're at it we need to prevent the rain, my girlfriend's mum is a postie and came off her bike in wet weather and is now spending a month in a leg brace.

1302310 2012-09-20 03:47:00 Could possibly be one of the top stories on the news tonight :D wainuitech (129)
1302311 2012-09-20 03:51:00 Don't panic peoples ... there'll probably have to be a Bill tabled in Parliament, Select Committee Hearing(s) ,Royal Commission of Enquiry, Hikoi, Referendum and violent demonstrations (probably consisting of the burning of letterboxes) before the height regulations become Law ... then of course there will be a Powhiri (tax payer funded of course) to welcome each and every mail box that had to be lifted or lowered to the appropriate height.

Meanwhile, Johnkey will have sold our airline, railway, armed forces (well not airforce ... we don't have one of them any more) power stations (excluding all that use water, wind, steam ... and probably coal as well soon ) and anything else he can make a quick buck out of.
