| 116297 | 2003-01-24 09:34:00 | The microphone on my headset pics up a sound evertime there is any change on the screen I can hear myself typing this and the changes in the add on the screen, muting the mic stops the interference but either way speech recognition is pretty much impossible. The mic input on my PC is situated immediately alongside the monitor connection. so it could be a simple shielding problem (its a cheap headset). I have check IRQ but sound card and video card are well separated. Any suggestions would be appreciated | Ross Swain (2918) | ||

Am beginning to think its the close proximity of sound card and video card unfortunately sound card is built in and video card is agp, 1 slot only so moving either isnt an option might borrow a better mic just to see if that fixes anything | Ross Swain (2918) | ||
