116156 2003-01-23 20:21:00 My cookies are enabled, Opera is set as my home page, but when I try to log in it says Invalid user name or password. I then reset my password by clicking the link in my email which opens my IE browser and I am logged in. But still can't log in via Opera. This also happend a few nights ago. Whats going on? Danger (287)
116157 2003-01-23 20:40:00 Hm...same thing is happening in IE, after logging out I can't log back in unless I go through the whole procedure of resetting my password via email, even tho I am using the same password. Long process, can't do this each time. Anyone else having problems like this? Danger (287)
116158 2003-01-24 06:06:00 Yes,
I did too this morning, I think it might have been another hiccup in the system like what happened a few weeks ago.

116159 2003-01-24 08:06:00 Just browsed to here, read the postings and logged in successfully using Opera 6.05. I have cookies enabled and set to discard after closing Opera.

Must admit I had some trouble logging on a few days ago, and was only able to by closing and restarting Opera.

Check under "Privacy" in Opera that you don't throw away cookies on exit - PF1 needs its cookie to let you in again.

116161 2003-01-24 09:07:00 Yeah its sorted now, don't really know what the problem was but I can now log in automatically instead of manually each time. If I tried to do it manually I couldn't, so adjusted my settings to auto after resetting the password again. Thanks. Danger (287)
116162 2003-01-24 09:10:00 Funny thing is, after posting the above reply it reverted to seeing me as a guest, and all the page settings were back at default. Then I went to the home page and it again recognised me as Danger and changed the page settings to my prefrences. Stange goings on I'll be bound... Danger (287)
116163 2003-01-24 09:12:00 Did it again after that reply.... Danger (287)

I wonder if you have a cookie-cleaning-off prog running somewhere ....
