| 116284 | 2003-01-24 03:54:00 | I'm trying to upgrade the BIOS on a Digital PC 3100. I downloaded the update from their site (part of Compaq now part of HP), made the bootable diskette, changed the jumper to enable BIOS write and booted the system. The program starts and seems to work, but then I receive this message: PhoenixPhlash Error Write to flash memory failed a 0:FFFC0000. I tried clearing CMOS, return its jumper to normal then flashing again but it still didn't work. Nor did another version (newer than mine, older then the first I tried). Any help would be appreciated. Cheers g |
