| 116369 | 2003-02-04 23:16:00 | Gibson Research Corp have this all settled. Although the disk itself may sometimes be damaged, most times the problem is the system section of the disk is full. This can, despite the clicking, be fixed by a full format of the disk - you then have a clean usable disk again. I have had this happen once and fixed it. Go to [grc.com for information on the "Trouble in Paradise" program and a free download. The program runs extensive tests on the disk. |
