| 116642 | 2003-01-26 03:28:00 | If you are experiencing slow loading of pages on the Internet, it could be caused by the latest Worm,"W32SQL Slammer386", that is stopping Servers,with gay abandon! It,s not likely to affect desktops etc,unless they are being used as servers? Grisoft has the latest patch for it and I presume other AV Clients have posted fixes too but as yet I haven't checked! Apparently 25,000 servers were infected with the worm, but even at a small number like that, they still had a massive effect - 5 of the 13 root DNS servers were disabled and loads of people had trouble surfing the internet. | segfault (655) | ||
