116534 2003-01-25 23:07:00 I am sure Win2k did have ICS but I prefer using other programs.

Have a look at www.webattack.com

The Jana server is good but pretty confusing layout.

602Pro Lan Suite had something I didn't like but couldn't remember because I switched to Jana.

A lot of people use AnalogX Proxy and would possibly recommend it. I myself have not used it but have heard good recommendations for it.

The proxy is installed only on Win2k.

Once you have the proxy installed, configuring it will be difficult. You'll need to make the Win2k IP static since it'll be used as the gateway. The Win98 machine can get assigned an IP but I prefer making that one static as well.

e.g. Win2k machine could be 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0 and Win98 machine could be 192.168.0.2/255.255.255.0

Then on the Windows 98 machine just change the Internet Explorer Lan Settings to point to the Win2k machine.
