| 117356 | 2003-01-30 20:23:00 | Running Win XP on a 80Gb drive if I installed another 40gb drive with XP on it how do I go about configuring the system so that I can use either drive as necessary. | alancorner (725) | ||
| 117357 | 2003-01-30 20:43:00 | Open up your computer. Stick it in, give it power, attach the data cable, ensure that you have the dip switch set to slave (if its on the same cable as your other hd) Close your computer, see if the BIOS picks it up at startup. If it doesn't go into the BIOS and do an "auto detect" save settings and exit Load up windows. Partion the new hard drive. Format the Hard drive. then your away. Refer to the FAQ section for more detailed information. |

| 117362 | 2003-01-30 23:45:00 | Inidentally you don't need to have XP installed on both drives - just the first one. | Greg S (201) | ||

| 117364 | 2003-01-31 21:39:00 | When you've installed the drive, and are in XP, Right click on My Computer and select Disk management. You should be able to right click on the drive and select Format :-) Cheers Chilling_Silence |
