| 117231 | 2003-01-29 23:05:00 | iam trying to capture a tape in vcr through my sony trv18e camera by the help of 1EEE 1394 firewire card , the prob is that it stop after a while . ive checked the duration window which ive set to 3:00:00 i use ulead video studio to capture and iam runnning winxp with 128 ram, 777mhz,10 gb hard disk can anyone tell me wat is the prob or sugggest me another program that support mpeg capturing without freezing |

| 117232 | 2003-01-30 02:08:00 | You may want to consider your RAM? I tried capturing incoming video on a 667 mhz PIII, with 256 Mb RAM. It was touch and go, dropped a fair few frames and had trouble keeping running. Gave up on it. Was capturing to MPEG 1 format for playing as a VCD. It works fine on a 2GHz P4, 512 MB RAM though. |
