117128 2003-01-29 15:15:00 I assume you mean Autocomplete in IE. You'll find it under the Content tab. Just untick the options you don't want clear everything and that's it.

Hope this helps.

117129 2003-01-29 16:40:00 i could not find this function - i think i have no access to it. only the administrator has - and how will you ever find this guy in a public library??? kummer42 (2075)
117130 2003-01-29 19:56:00 You should just be able to highlight your login name in the drop down menu each time and hit delete. Most public computers (net cafe's, librarys) disable all of the fun stuff, so good luck changing the settings!

Autocomplete isn't a security risk really, it just means that others can see the login name that you are using - so don't sweat it.

117131 2003-01-29 21:23:00 Isn't there an option at the login screen under "Security Options" that has the choice of "Public/Shared Computer" this should enable higher security for you.

Cheers

117132 2003-01-29 21:51:00 When you log into Hotmail, you will see a box you can tick if you are using a Public Computer.

I presume that it will not send any cookies to the computer if its a public one.
