117414 2003-02-01 08:15:00 Yes I zip. A zip is still the only way I can swap files to and from work/home as those in power at work don't waste money on new computers when a Compaq PII 233 on networked win 95 still works! andy (473)
117415 2003-02-01 11:49:00 Thought I'd say that I have both a Zip drive and a Jaz drive. The Zip was and is for backing up peoples hard drives before updating the OS. They also mean that I can then load the files onto my computer and then burn it to CD for them.

The Jaz was great back in the days when hard drives were pretty small and the fact that it could be bootable was excellent! Nowadays I use it for archiving the server.

I also have a linux distro that can be run from the Zip drive, but don't really need that to much now with Knoppix apart from the tools that were on it!
