| 117562 | 2003-02-01 03:18:00 | Hi Everyone, I'm trying to make a standalone CD player out of a CD ROM drive, by "tweaking" the audio cable which ususally plugs into the soundcard, to make it fit an audio mixer. Has anybody ever done this with any success? If so, what was the quality like? |

| 117563 | 2003-02-01 03:36:00 | Ive used a Small-Form-Factor case before and plugged it into the mobo.. Basically a mobo, PSU and a CD-ROM and when it boots, I just put the CD in and use the play, stop, FFWD buttons on the CD-ROM and plug headphones or speakers in. This was about 5 years ago, but although its not quite what you're looking for, it worked :-) | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
