Is it advisible to have more than one anti-virus programmes at once or would they clash. |

No it is not advisable. Should be no need anyway. If you keep one antivirus program up-to-date that's all you need. If you have more than one then your PC will start to slow down because you'll have each file being checked twice! (or more) I have also seen some conflicts with more than one running and this caused windows crashes etc. |

You can have more than one AV program installed on your computer but not actually running at the the same time. That can be quite handy if you suspect you have a virus that one is not picking up - just disable that AV and fire the other one up. Remember that they will both need their virus definitions updated to stay current. |
