| 117761 | 2003-02-02 05:39:00 | Try again,blast it.I'll have to copy this before I post it.Tried recording a cd to hard drive using Win Media Player.Tried playing the track back in Winamp,it sounded like it was skipping,plays ok in WMP of course.My question.The help files don't mention what format(?) it records in,that I can see.Is it worth using WMP to do this and getting rid of MP3Workshop,dbPowerAMP,Free Rip,etc, etc?Is it worth upgrading WMP?I have version 7.01. Comments,please. (This is what happens when the wife's away,and it's too hot to go outside!) |

| 117763 | 2003-02-02 12:20:00 | Another vote for CDex. It produces MP3s which are more flexable than WMAs and uses the best MP3 encoder around (LAME). You can get it here (http://cdex.n3.net/). |
