| 117915 | 2003-02-06 04:05:00 | Giving Opera a test drive for the first time.... man it's FAST!!! :O Looks a bit different to IE and I need to tweak all the settings and find my way around it, but so far so good. It's strange how PF1 threads look different -- the Spell Check/Preview/etc buttons change to light yellow when moused over (IE doesn't do that) and there's a thick line under the subject heading of each post. I wonder how come Opera does that and IE doesn't? I do feel brave... first I converted to Eudora earlier this week, now Opera. The things some people can talk me into.... :p Goes off to study TweakUI settings. |

What I'd like to know is how can I have a similar bar to IE's "Links" that I have on my IE toolbar? I really miss those quick shortcuts and don't want Opera's "Hotlist" taking up valuable real estate. Anyone got any ideas? |

| 117919 | 2003-02-06 06:33:00 | How does the search field work,Susan? Have doubleclicked to select one of the drop down lines, but nothing happens.Just like F1 tonight.I'm only allowed to see two posts tonight!!This just happens to be the 2nd one. | Neil McC (178) | ||
| 117920 | 2003-02-06 06:45:00 | Neil, all I did was click in the search box, typed out what I wanted to search for then hit Enter. Since Google is at the top of the list the Google page then pops up with all the sites found. Quite neat. :-) | Susan B (19) | ||
