117858 2003-02-04 02:37:00 Thanks Craig. I guess that the Pack and Go > .exe file was the facility that Cyberchuck was referring to. It must make a pretty hefty file, though, if it includes the whole viewer - seemingly 6 - 9 MB to make a few KB viewable. .pps files seem to be an up and coming thing in e-mail attachments and I had wondered if there was a simple and practical way of passing them on to those who don't have Ppnt or PpntV. The answer to that is apparently 'no', so I suppose the next best thing is to include the link to the viewer download in the e-mail. Robin S_ (86)
117859 2003-02-04 09:40:00 Do you need to pass them on as a power point slide show, or do the recipients simply need the information?

You may be able to export the slides to bitmap's or something, ie as a screen shot - if it is really crucial they have the info, you may want to take a screen shot of each slide and convert them to jpeg files to email.

Unfortunately I don't have access to powerpoint any more to investigate, but try going into the save as menu and see if there is more than one format to save into, or look for an export option somewhere, (i don't know if there is one or not, so if you can't find one there probably isnt)

Other than that, you probably can't send them short of what you suggested of the link to the viewer.

Craig.

117860 2003-02-04 09:49:00 Powerpoint allows the file to be saved as .jpg (one file per slide) bit a 150k file then becomes 850k in total. Also .tif, .png etc godfather (25)
