| 118005 | 2003-02-03 09:28:00 | AUI / 10Base5 BNC / 10Base2 TP Full Duplex TP Half Duplex these are the line speed i can choose for my network card currently the default is TP Half Duplex if i change it to the full duplex will the transferring speed increase and what are the AUI and BNC??? sorry.. i'm just totally lost here |

| 118006 | 2003-02-03 09:38:00 | heni72847, See the following web page for a quick (very) answer re AUI/BNC/Tp connectors. Network Connectors (www.phm.lu). If you have an Automatic setting I would suggest you use that (let the network negotiate the best speed) otherwise it depends on who/what else you are connecting to/with whether any speed increase is noticed e.g. 10/100 <=> 20/200 Mb/s or whatever.
