118210	2003-02-04 04:25:00	I have a home network consisting of 3 PC's (all running Windows 2000.) They are connected to each other via a Nokia M1122 ADSL Modem/Router on Cat 5 UTP cabling. The current network speed is 10Mbps. Is it possible to upgrade the network speed to 100Mbps without changing anything... all the network cards in use are capable of 100Mbps. What do I need to change? What do I need > to change? Well if the router is capable of 100<bps then they should be running at that already. The only reason for not is that they are set on manual in the device settings. Open the device manager on each PC and check to see what setting they are on. They should be on automatic. You can always set them to 100/Full Duplex. If on the other hand the router only does 10 Mbps then you need a better one or maybe a switch that does it.	Big John (551)
118212	2003-02-04 04:49:00	Well the big point I will throw in here that will kill all plans. The Nokia M1122 only support 10MB. So unless you buy another Hub or Router you are not going to be able to network faster than that. You have the option though of buying a 100/10 hub and using the uplink port for the router and plug you standard desktops into the hub so that inter-computer communication is at 100MB.
