| 118163 | 2003-02-04 03:14:00 | Right now my PC has the HDD on the primary IDE channel . On the secondary IDE is a cd-rom and a zip drive as slave . Now I want to add a CD-RW/DVD combo drive , preferably without removing the original CD . Because i use the zip as a big floppy [ think download ] Im thinking i should slave it to the primary channel and have both optical drives on the secondary . Is this the right thing to do? |
