| 118575 | 2003-02-05 06:38:00 | How I can write a startup script for Windows XP (Profesional) that performs different actions depdending on which hardware profile is selected? For example, I have 4 hardware profiles: All, Games, Business, Video Editing. Various hardware drivers are turned on and off depending on the profile selected. I want to go a bit further and customise the s/w and services that start up too. For business I want my PocketPC to synchronise with Activesync, and the MS Office FindFast to load. For games I want the Logitech mouse S/W to be disabled, but for the other 3 profiles I want it to be enabled. Etc. Any advice would be appreciated. |
