| 118612 | 2003-02-05 10:07:00 | I bought this game recently, installed it etc, seemed to run fine. However - I have a few problems with it... 1) When selecting the 'Practice' Mode in the game, it appears to load for a few seconds then resets my computer. (Have checked that that wasn't an one-off problem) 2) When finishing a game and going back to the game menu, the picture seems disorted, fuzzy lines running across the screen etc, words are missing, parts of pictures are missing.. Am wondering if anyone else has this problem? And if it is due to a bug - is there a patch to download and fix the problem? One mate had the Demo and it had this problem as well, to my recollection. | 118613 | 2003-02-11 08:16:00 | it gotta be the cd...i asked a few friends who have the game..and they say its perfect...not one hitch...and i have it too and not one problem..and if someone mentions that it could be the memory...then i can say its not coz i've got 256mb and a friend has 64mb...and works perfectly... try a reinstallation..if it doesnt work...try a different computer...like a better one or a weaker one and see if it works..if it doesnt on all computers u try it on..then it has 2 be the cd.. |

| 118614 | 2003-02-11 08:38:00 | Interesting....because a mate of mine had the Demo, and he had those problems too. I think I can get hold of a patch thingy, and fix it up...will see how it goes... IF it is the cd, wonder how it got to be like that. I bought it NEW from Electronic Botique in Botany Downs, and the minute i got home, put the cd into the computer and installed it... Has this been heard of before? One CD being "cr#ppy" when other CDs from the same game/batch aren't? |

| 118615 | 2003-02-11 08:41:00 | sure has been heard of before...depending how long ago...u can take it back but..they dont give refunds due to copyright..coz u could easily buy take home then copy and return and get refund..so yeah they would just ask why its stuffed..and u just explain and get a replacement..only if u have a receipt as well.. i dont know if tehres a patch thingy, but will look on a website for u :-) demos...they can have those problems..like i had the tigerwoods 2002 demo and it was really bad as..freezeups..but the cd was perfectly alright mmm... |
