118567 2003-02-05 04:37:00 i connected my two computers one running win98 and one running win2k
they are connected peer-to-peer with the same privilege level
the win2k machine can access all the shared resources on the win98 machine but when the win98 machine tries to connect to the win2k one, it askes for a network password
there is no password set on my win2k machine
i've tried the administrators password and also the user's password
both didn't work

where is this password set or is there something i should do and didn't do

118568 2003-02-05 04:53:00 You need to make a "user" on the W2k machine for the W98 machine. Graham L (2)
