pretty much so... particually given that just about everything auto completes and remembers what you tell it to anyways...

There's a HUGE - as in BIG BIG BIG - difference bewteen DC, which delivers ads like the ones you see on this page, and Gator, which is obnoxious spyware that gets on your PC without your persmission.
