| 118762 | 2003-02-06 02:06:00 | My Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick won't work all of a sudden and gets a 'Not connected' message. It is. I've gone thru the trouble shooting and tried another USB port but to no avail. What's next? Is it actually possible to uninstall the software and reinstall? If so, will this help? Anybody else had similar probs?. I remember having same prob way in past but after some basic jiggling it came right. Not this time unfortunately. |

The only way I've been able to sort it out is to go into game controllers in the Control Panel and remove the joystick. Also make sure it's unplugged too. Then reboot. Next switch the PC off and then plug in the JS then start up again. Go to game controllers in the Control Panel and add your JS Good luck ;) |
