2003-02-07 05:51:00 | When you click on the link given by Billy T in the original post, the box's labels looks like its been altered (some blurriness and fuzziness around the labels). Does anyone else notice this, or is my monitor fooling my eyes? | caffy (2665) | |

Does anyone else notice this, or is my > monitor fooling my eyes? That image has been altered. The Nortons SystemWorks 2003 Pro box has a different pattern of "spokes" on the front. However, if you click on the "buy" link, the correct box is displayed on that page. |

2003-02-07 10:17:00 | Well I was checking the bosses' email whilst he was away. First time I saw the spam I wondered whether I should save it for him. Over the 6 weeks he would have had as many spams about Norton as he did Viagra - from as many different email addresses. Personally I'd give it a miss.

2003-02-07 11:51:00 | Not sure about the deal above but the format of the ad looked similar to others that I have seen on ebay. I searched the site and found same product for $15.95US as 'buy now' price. At least with ebay you can view feedback from ppl and take a more calculated risk.... by the look of it at a cheaper price. sam m

2003-02-07 20:55:00 | Well Kiwitas I had my doubts about the spam offer but my own research didn't find any clear confirmation that it was a scam, it was just the low price that worried me. I didn't really find out much more from the responses so far to my post either. Now you've gone and put the cat among the pigeons well and truly! US$18 puts 9software.com slap-bang into serious scam pricing territory yet you are saying that it is genuine and PF1 users have bought software from this source? Atr this point the $18 is no longer the issue, it is how much they might surcharge for freight or what might be done with my credit card details. Are you saying that 9software prices and products are genuine? Cheers Billy 8-{) ?:|
