But the webserver that i am using dosn't allow asp so I need to make the database in php. Does anyone know of any good tutorials on how to make php databases. I only have ftp access to upload to the server. The database fields that I want are: Driver Team Car Number Skin Author Download Link Skin Author Homepage Link and if possible an image of the skin for more info on the project go here portstevo.niteshade.net |

| 119239 | 2003-02-08 00:27:00 | maybe a stupid point for me to bring up, but you dont actually make databases with php, php interacts with databases. the normal database software php works with is mysql, and is by far the easiest to code to. your webhost would need to support it, and it might cost more if its not included with your current plan. the other alternative is using a flatfile type database (xml/txt files), and writing to them from an admin section on your site. grtz sal. tga |
