| 119013 | 2003-02-07 07:58:00 | Hello, I have just installed WindowsXP and set up my email/internet connection with my ISP. However I cannot save my password and everytime I try to connect either to the internet or email my password gets replaced by something (its in asterix's) very long and I've no idea where it has come from because I haven't created any passwords elsewhere. I looked in my default dial-up connection settings (through the communications button on the Internet tools menu and there is no password saved and when I try to save it the apply button is greyed out so it obviously doesn't save. Has anyone had this problem? I can't find anything on the Microsoft XP website. Cheers, Martin |
