| 1328647 | 2013-02-19 02:02:00 | Something weird going on - - When I download files, documents or anything to the desktop, nothing appears on the actual desktop. When I go into my start menu (bottom left) and select 'desktop', the downloads are all there. How do I change the settings or whatever to get them to appear on the actual desktop as well? Thanks, Simon |

| 1328650 | 2013-02-19 02:47:00 | Downloaded a couple more files and nothing showed, so I tried the F5 idea and they appeared. Could be that I need to keep using that key long term? Something has changes in the system settings? Thanks guys! |

| 1328651 | 2013-02-19 02:58:00 | Its a bug in Windows, Its been around a long time - "Maybe" one day MS will get around to fixing it  Sometimes if you run temp-file-cleaner (www.geekstogo.com) (TFC) it works OK for a while, other times it doesn't. TFC is a file cleaner that gets out more rubbish than Ccleaner. |
