That's because Opera Mobile doesn't support the "tel:" URI :)
It doesn't stop it from happening in other apps such as SMS apps, Twitter etc

My phone is an ancient Nokia,just does calls and texts.
I was waiting for the Lumia 920 (Windows) but they skimped on the camera, so I might just get a Lumia 808 (Symbian).
There is little point in a cell phone here, no service unless I go to the beach, stand on tippy toes and sing the national anthem.
A rumour went around that we were to get a cell site under the RBI by Christmas, however there is no sign of work starting on one.
So it may still be years before any service here. :(

That's right. At one stage, they went too far ahead with the technology to the extent that only Symbian OS is capable of handling the image capturing/processing.
