Have A Great Day.

1302659 2012-09-22 05:26:00 Thanks everyone - the bike is still hanging in the garage and hasn't had a lot of use in the last 12 months or so. Suffering with age-related injuries (knee, lower back, shoulder, elbow), so instead celebrated today with a game of golf in Ngaruawahia (and another tomorrow at South Head!! - golf seems to stress those injuries less, and I still get out in the fresh air), followed by dinner tomorrow night with a group of friends. Maybe I will also have a few "refreshing ales" this evening (but not too many, because it's an early start tomorrow)...

Aiming to get back on the bike in October....

1302663 2012-09-22 09:32:00 Cheers - time for the second glass... johcar (6283)
1302664 2012-09-22 22:26:00 A second glass? That's too fast, pace yourself, ten seconds would be easier until you get your second wind. R2x1 (4628)

Yes, I have a few of those.
I did some fencing the other day, immediately my bits started to hurt like *^%$@, ignored it and it seemed to improve. Carried on part way down and then stopped for the day.
Next day.....couldn't move.

Still....I'll finish it bit by bit, do some more next week once the pain nerves calm down again.

So golf is ok....walking...swing arms....you'd think it wouldn't be?

Fencing? Isn't that just a fancy name for duelling with swords?
