2013-02-24 22:11:00 | Hmm 80071a90 maybe the error. It looks like KB2647753 needs to be installed by itself. If this is one of the updates that hasn't been installed yet, install it by itself. Reboot if you have to, then install the rest of the updates This is what it means (windows.microsoft.com). What AV / firewall is installed? If KB2647753 is installed, one of the updates may have to be installed by itself before you can install the others. I dont know if that fixiti works in Win7

2013-02-24 22:21:00 | Thanks Speedy. Doing the reboot now and I see MS has a fix on that ... maybe the AV locks some files up .... | Nomad (952) | |
2013-02-24 22:22:00 | Oops, I see KB2647753 is one of the updates that fail. Install it by itself then reboot then hopefully the other updates will install. One reason why it needs to be installed by itself. One of the other updates may install the same files, and trying to install both at the same file (the file whatever it is) maybe locked, so it cant update the same file twice | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2013-02-24 22:46:00 | KB2647753 worked by itself, now doing the rest, fingers crossed :) I am just using Windows Firewall and Security Essentials.

2013-02-25 00:21:00 | Yes, installing 100s of updates can cause issues where updates to update are instigated before the original has been installed, especially with .net updates. | SolMiester (139) | |
