1328795 2013-02-21 05:34:00 To repeat -- Post a screenshot please- when you say "intrusions" if those are the exact words, then that would be something the Firewall would say ( since you have ESS).

Open the logs you were looking at, maximize the screen ( From memory you got W7 ) click start, type in snip Open the snipping tool, select from the drop down select full screen - when it captures it, save it then upload it here - that will show exactly what you are referring to.

1328796 2013-02-21 07:01:00 Hi WT,
Nothing has been sent to this site-even after posting a "snip" and a "cut and paste" so I have sent it to your own e mail addresss

1328797 2013-02-21 08:12:00 Had a look, the picture was rather small, couldn't actually read it, put it into Paint.net and blew it up BUT there was nothing there in red That means a nasty. There were some locked files, but that's common.

From what I saw, it looks OK.

1328798 2013-02-21 20:20:00 Hi WT,
I can see 198000 odd files ready to post.
It intrigues me as I had been sure that as ESET scanned incoming, why should it find anything after ?

You only need to worry about any flagged RED files, not the whole lot.

Like I said before, sometimes it flags things as dodgy when it can't work out the compression method. .exes etc....
Probably a false positive.

As for malware Bytes, is it the latest version? Free or Paid? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

1328799 2013-02-21 20:56:00 Hi

WT thanks -there were 3 threats in my first scan but no button to delete them
I can work with a false positive-

PCtek,

Thanks also,--- I have deleted using Revo ( including clearing any files missed in uninstall then re installed the new program-same result.
However I will do it all over again today, and get back to you

1328800 2013-02-21 22:36:00 If a scan finds something it normally puts them in the quarantine folder. you can delete them from there if you wish. wainuitech (129)
1328801 2013-02-22 03:55:00 Hi W T,
