1302864 2012-09-24 00:00:00 Yeah I noticed that in the image as well. There an easy way to counter that during manufacturing? Or has it sagged post-creation and is easy enough to bend back? Chilling_Silence (9)
1302865 2012-09-24 00:23:00 Have to say thats pretty cool to be able to build something like that. Look foward to seeing it in action one of these days - time permitting (something I seem to have trouble finding enough of these days)!!. BTW, how is the pc handling it? Iantech (16386)
1302866 2012-09-24 05:25:00 The PC is handling it just fine, it's not an intensive program. One of these days I will get it running from an SD card.

I'm looking into the sagging problem usually if it's not important I just file it off.

Currently have a different design one printing so more pics later once it's finished.

I thought that's why people printed some models with supports?

1302870 2012-09-25 21:06:00 Supports are really for overhangs, not used for bridging as it would be hard to remove in that situation gary67 (56)
1302871 2012-09-26 00:24:00 Oh I see. I guess I'd know that if I actually had a printer.

Came across this yesterday, you might find it interesting: 3dtopo.com

1302872 2012-09-26 08:31:00 Yes I have heard of people doing that, apparently the clear PLA from Diamond age up in Auckland is good for that as it melts without charring gary67 (56)
