1329360 2013-02-21 09:38:00 Hi Guys

I upgraded to Windows 8 which is quite sleek and pretty fast compared to Win 7 however I've encountered some issues.

The Metro Start screen where you can place your program in one of the tile.. its a great feature but one of my program is missing.

So i go to the "All Program" Metro screen to locate the software and that add that to the "metro start screen" but its not there.
Opera isn't located there , neither is utorrent.

How do I add this in the metro start screen?

2nd issue

When you use your mouse and scroll to the top left or top right you'll get the minimize version of the metro start screen .
How do you change the area ?Say I don't want it on the top left and bottom right, Maybe I want to move the metro start screen when I scroll my mouse to the middle right hand side on the screen.
Is there an option to change that?

Thanks

2. No, there is no option to change the hotspots as far as I'm aware.

1329364 2013-02-22 10:35:00 can you reinstall your app, sounds like maybe it didn't survive the upgrade, sounds like you did an in place upgrade nmercer (3899)
1329365 2013-02-23 05:32:00 You should just be able to type in the App name, have it appear, then it should come up it. Right-click/two-finger-tap it then select pin to start screen SanChippy (16951)
1329366 2013-02-23 06:02:00 If the App is missing, you can always download/install it from the MS store. Simply go to the start screen open the Store App , type in the name of the App, it will appear on the right - install.

Had to do this the other day when the original Mail App was removed instead off unpinning from start.
