1303398 2012-09-25 22:55:00 I heard the alarms this morning (about ten minutes ago). I'm not heading for the hills yet, but from what I've heard, a drill was supposed to be happening around now. Should I be worried? Greg (193)
1303399 2012-09-25 22:56:00 There was a national drill at 9:26am if that helps. pcuser42 (130)
1303400 2012-09-25 23:42:00 I thought something like that. Thanks. Greg (193)
1303401 2012-09-25 23:47:00 Oh dear, I slept through it. Bobh (5192)
1303402 2012-09-25 23:54:00 Then you're potentially dead as a result of the earthquake or tsunami! But yet, you still live! :clap
Oh dear, I slept through it.

1303404 2012-09-26 00:13:00 I was out at smoko... =\ no desk / table to jump under out there. lordnoddy (3645)
1303405 2012-09-26 00:30:00 These drills do serve a purpose. Disaster can strike at any time - even when you are sleeping. When disaster strikes you need to know how to react.

The example of Lance Corporal Jones running around in circles, not knowing what to do while shouting, "Don't panic Mr Mainwaring" is not the best way to react.

1303406 2012-09-26 00:31:00 I was out at smoko... =\ no desk / table to jump under out there.

There weren't any on the train either, and I'm not too keen on hiding under those seats...

1303407 2012-09-26 01:49:00 We all at work in Auckland forgot all about it. It's unlikely up here we will get a CH,or WN type of earthquake. It will be a volcanic type which will give us a weeks notice before things get bad.. paulw (1826)
