| 119521 | 2003-02-09 04:44:00 | I have an xp. I find I can scan okay but when I try to `save` my computer turns really slugish and takes forever, any advice | Roseyglow (2770) | ||
| 119522 | 2003-02-09 05:27:00 | You have an "xp" what? Windows XP? Windows XP Home or Pro? What are specs of your computer? Saving images on an oldish computer can take some time due to the size of the graphics. |

| 119525 | 2003-02-09 06:26:00 | I like taking guesses. I'm assuming it's taking a long time to save because you're not using a compressed graphic type (.jpg) you are possibly using a bloated graphic type (.bmp) which can sometimes amount to MBs of data and would seem like an eternity to save. Provide more information on the programs used, computer specifications especially the amount of RAM and CPU speed. Might pay to tell us the Scanner you are using too and what interface it uses (parallel, USB) |
