| 119484 | 2003-02-09 02:03:00 | i have a 4x speed cd burner that came with the computer,and just been given an 8x speed burner(i know fast stuff here). i want too use the x speed as the reader and the 8x speed as the burner.ok now the software im using 1)adaptec:only recognizes the 8x as the reader not as a burner. 2)hp:burning software only sees the 8x 3)clonecd:sees both, but wont burn on the fly.messages say drives have to be connected on different cables.New burner set to slave, tryed swapping around but pc wounldnt reconise orignal as slave\ \\ thank u in advance. |
