He's one of the best columnists in Pc World and the now deceased Imag and for reasons beyond my comprehension his co-workers always manage to push him into the back of the pc world group when they're taking the yearly snapshot at the Pc World Readers choice award. He's been at the back for the past 3 Readers Choice awards to date that I've seen. He's always at the back, on his tip toes, being towered down by the others. It's so sad!!! :-( Why do they never let him stand at the front!!! Cmon who agrees with me!!! | Kibito (623) | ||
| 119419 | 2003-02-08 19:11:00 | I must thank Geoff for standing up against Telecon . with their internet charges a couple of years ago, We all know that XTRA have more Internet customers than any other ISP, if anyone is choking the telephone lines it is XTRA , yet they seem to be excluded from internet charges . I must say that some of my bosses ex-bosses that go with XTRA seem to live in a class of there own . Also I must add since Telecon change the pay by phone card in 1999 and would not refund money on old cards, Telecon have stopped me using phone cards, I refuse to buy a new card, and they have missed out, I used to use a phone card often . |

I totally agree on his column being one of the best I just wish he'd move on past the Delphi stuff and focus more on other issues like he used to do in 'Code Cutter' and his section in iMag. If he dont' like taking pics, why does he make himself look worse by stand half behind the others. I still think it's not him who chooses where to stand. I really don't think he chose the spot ay. I thought the point of this thread was to discuss why Mr. Palmer is always at the back of the photo's? - either that or I've just failed English this year.... ?:| You could always just get his piccy from the PCWorld articles where it has his head and shoulders? - I suppose you could even cut it out and stick it over the top of the photo's if you really wanted too - why cut up a perfectly good PCWorld issue though? :p CyberChuck |
