119455 2003-02-08 23:05:00 as i'm one of the many fans going to watch the cricket world cup from South Africa...i'd love to have a time convertor or something that can give me "south african time" and nz time..coz as many of the games are at 1430 or 1000 south african time..i wanna know whats that in nz time and all..i know coverage starts on tv at 1am or 8:30pm..but thats not the time the game will start...and as me being deaf the chatter b4 game wont enterntain me...and as they will be overnite here i gonna get some worthwhile sleep b4 it and wake up 5-10 mins b4 the game..so yeah...a time convertor would be sooooo helpful to me :D
i know theres websites that can help...like online..but i'd want it offline so i dont have to keep coming online...as i'm tryin 2 cut down on my internet hours...and yay the cricket is going to help :D

Try this link, I have not used it myself but it should be able to give you local time in New Zealand and Sth Africa and else where just like some of those clock displays you see in banks and travel shops.

If that is the case you will at least know the local time there.

Now I see you mention you are deaf and I must admit I know stuff all about that but if you have some way of being alerted to wake up then set the time on that to Sth Africa time instead of NZ time as a example.

119457 2003-02-09 00:54:00 I always use this (www.timezoneconverter.com) web based converter. Just remember to take the tick out of 'Use current date'time' if you want to convert some other time. wotz (335)

119460 2003-02-09 05:04:00 I thort it was like, if it's 8pm here, its 9am there on the same day?

It gets really confusing with Daylight Saving!!!
