| 120470 | 2003-02-12 02:53:00 | Was wondering, what kinds of pens/vivids/markers are the best to use, for writing on top of a CD (not writing data into the cd!!), and how much they are, where you buy them from. I use black vivid at the moment, but would like to know where to buy those 'fine' ones from, that will actually stay on the cd... |

| 120472 | 2003-02-12 03:04:00 | I just use one of two black marker pens, one is a Stepens Vivid Fine that I got from I think the Stationary Warehouse when I was there before Xmas for maybe a couple of dollars and also use a Artline Fine Black, just which ever one is within reach. Both dry near enough instantly and do not smudge. | Gordon. (2217) | ||
| 120473 | 2003-02-12 03:11:00 | I had fun once with a felt-tip pen. I wrote on it and then put it into an old top-loading stereo, and spun the disc round while it was still drying (The pens took a wee while to dry - Permanent markers dont seem to take so long) and it gave a pretty cool effect! note: the CD-Player was dead - only used as a radio! I dont suggest you try it at home ;-) |
